SPRING DESIGN STUDY

I created a series to study and analyze levels that inspire me. The first study is based on The Last of Us’ “Spring” chapter. In the breakdown, I remade portions of the level to study and learn.


CONCEPT ART STUDIES


  • Exploring different aspects of concept art design following the instructions and workflow of Naughty Dog’s John Sweeney. The intention of these studies is continued growth in composition, framing and story telling.


ENVIRONMENT ART STUDIES


  • Learning different aspects of environment art following the mentorship and workflow of Naughty Dog’s Andres Rodriguez and Jeremy Huxley through CG Master Academy.

  • The intention of taking these courses was growth in modeling ability, adding new skill sets and continued practice. My goal is to become a better artist so that I may be a better level designer and collaborator.

Substance Studies


  • The intention of taking these courses was growth in texturing ability, adding new skill sets and continued practice. My goal is to become a better artist so that I may be a better level designer and collaborator.

MODELING STUDIES


  • Modeling studies and assets done in Maya, Max and Substance. These were used for both personal and professional projects.
