The Applecore,” a showcase of Dwarven craftsmanship, was a joy to design over many years under the direction level design of Michael Cheng & James Riding. In this level, Kratos and Atreus navigate this Dwarven labyrinth filled with combat challenges, intricate puzzles, and moments of working together, father and son, in their relentless pursuit of finding and freeing Tyr.

Forever thankful for Raul Aparicio , Pailin Bartlett , Patrick Ward , Brandon Cha , Steven Mortensen , Ivanna Liittschwager and our world-class art team for bringing this space to life. Additionally, I am grateful to have collaborated with Rajul Ramchandani , brilliant designer of the Sluice System Designs, and the opportunity to work together on the Sluice Puzzles throughout the “The Applecore.” The creation of this space demanded an immense collective effort over many years from every individual, across all departments, and forever thankful to work together with everyone at Santa Monica Studio on “The Applecore.”
